Longings of the heart

Longingly listens to all my laments and labors,
Obliviously observes all my obligations and obsessions,
Achingly accepts all my adventures and achievements,
Tirelessly tenders towards all my threatens and taunts,
Happily hears about all my honors and hopes,
Echolessly echoes of my eccentricity and eagerness,
Daringly demands of my dreams and deceptions,

And yet,..

Why is our bond so broken,
Why are our words so worthless,
Why is our love so loveless,

Just what,..

What joy does it give,
humorlessly harassing
humiliatingly hurting,
thy own self,

thy own heart.
